Fuse bead crafting (Perler, Hama, Artkal) requires placing hundreds or thousands of beads onto physical pegboards. Traditional pixel tools often map colors to non-existent plastic beads, lack row/column guides, and fail to provide true 1:1 scale print templates.
PerlerPatterns.app was built to bridge this gap: upload any photo, illustration, or sprite, match exact commercial manufacturer codes with perceptual CIE L*a*b* math, track placement row by row, and print physical overlay sheets that slide right beneath transparent pegboards.
Color science & physical calibration
Our engine uses Euclidean Delta E in the CIE L*a*b* color space rather than naive RGB math, ensuring that delicate skin tones, shadow gradations, and vibrant jewel tones match physical plastic beads in real daylight.
Printable templates are precision-spaced at standard 5.0mm Midi pitch and feature a 50mm calibration check bar, ensuring crafters can verify 100% printer scale before placing their first bead.
